I should also mention that when I exchanged a red at Costco, they gave me store credit.

So, even though I ran a Red for a year, I ponied up the difference & upgraded to the yellow. 8)

You can get a yellow with a dark grey case, that is a deep cycle with starting technology.

Check out CL someone has a pair of yellows for $200.

Yeah, I've been emailing the person on CL and she has been dinking around for 2 days "waiting for a guy to come pick them up". I told her I could come by now to pick them up immediately but she is still "waiting".

I called CEI and all they have is a blue top. I told them to hold it for me. Blue is suppose to be a deep cycle for Marine use. Any reason why I can't use it for my rig? (The specs seem to match the red & yellow tops and the size and terminals will work)

I ran a yellow top from CEI forever now I have a red top from Riebes. I have not noticed a difference. The blue top has the same CCA. Give it a try worst case is you have a new camper battery.
I'm still a little confused what you need a battery for,,,don't you Toyota guys just feed the hamsters under the hood? :)

Yeah, but haven't you heard? There's a world wide shortage on hamster food and it's being rationed now so us toyota guys have to look for alternate means to power our rigs

(Good thing I don't own a jeep with the price of gas going up lately).

What is it with people on CL these days:

A gal originally posted 2 yellow tops for $240 for both

Then Lowered price to $215 so I offered her $100 for one and she said OK- I emailed my # and said call me

Then 2 days go by and no call or email reply so I email her and she replys saying "price is firm at $215"

So I email her and say Ok, call me to set time n place for pick up

Then another day goes by and I email her so she replies "waiting for a guy to come pick them up"

Then later I check CL and her add now says $275 Firm -- Don't low ball me and you must take both

I got Tired of dealing with this ditsey broad and picked up a blue top with 1 year free replacement at CEI for $60.

End of story!

Seriously, my ford gets 11-12 miles per gallon. My Dawson bill is over $500 a month.
